during the last 30 nba seasons ... has there been a better PURE SHOOTING GUARD than current boston celtic ray allen ... for the present, probably reggie miller ... reggie retired in 2005 after 18 excellent years with the indiana pacers ... and one day his career will be honored by admission into the nba hall of fame ... ray allen is now playing in his 13th nba season ... statistically reggie miller and ray allen are the same player ... seriously, check out the numbers <> career field goal percentage ... miller (47.1%) / allen (44.8%) <> 3-point field goal percentage ... miller (39.5%) / allen (39.7%) <> free throw percentage ... miller (88.8%) / allen (89.1%) <> assists per game ... miller (2.05) / allen (3.8) <> career points per game ... miller (18.2) / allen (20.9)

so let me ask a different question ... during the last 30 years ... has there been a better, more athletic, more graceful pure shooting guard than ray allen ... has there been a sweeter "threeeeeee" from the corner than ray allen's stop, catch, elevate, shoot and "nothing but net" for threeeeeee... i say no
