i'm impressed

today i took my annual trip down to gillette stadium in foxborough ... it was a beautiful summer day and the drive time was only 1 hour, 15 minutes ... like every other year, i made the trip to see the latest edition of my new england patriots on the practice field ... but unlike other years, i also wanted to visit the new bass pro shops ... and i wanted to see as much of the patriot place development being constructed around gillette as i could

when my day was done ... i had watched 2 hours of tom brady and randy moss ... wes welker and ben watson ... the 4-headed backfield of lawrence moroney, kevin faulk, sammy morris and lamont jordan ... and vince wilfork, ty warren, mike vrabel, tedy bruschi and rodney harrison ... i had walked several miles around gillette stadium and through the emerging patriot place development ... i had visited the pretty amazing bass pro shops ... and i had taken 217 photos

i was impressed ... very impressed ... impressed on so many levels ... most impressed when i consider the new england patriots, gillette stadium and patriot place i saw today in an historical perspective

so i'm going to make a couple posts over the next few weeks ... to try and capture the historical view that impresses me so much

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the photos posted below are of the hall at patriot place ... when completed, the hall will be a state-of-the-art museum of the history of the new england patriots ... and much more ... the hall is attached to gillette stadium adjacent to the bridge and lighthouse ... the hall at patriot place will be sponsored by raytheon of waltham ... the main entrance to the soon to open cbs scene, which i will post pics of down the road, is located just across the courtyard from the hall
