carl edwards may be one of today's great race car drivers ... but he absolutely sucks at restrictor plate races ... i read somewhere recently that jimmie johnson "didnt have a clue" in his early restrictor plate races ... edwards "doesnt have a clue"
was today the first time we've seen the car of today go airborne? ... can you imagine the disaster if that car had gone through the wire fence rather than bouncing off it
shake-ups at the top ... with his 37th place finish at talladega ... jeff gordon has fallen to 2nd in the driver points standings ... kurt busch is the new points leader by +5 over gordon ... and by +64 and +67 points over jimmie johnson and tony stewart, respectively ... and here in our little nascar pool ... with a 43rd place finish at talladega ... jason has tumbled to 5th in the points standings ... now leading the pack is a trio of former oswego-ites ... floyd, rookie tom (-12) and rich (-28)
